THE WAIT
I shall wait
for thee , my Love.
Certain as the river sings
and make way
beyond the bend-
merge with the sea...
Sure as the bird spread
its wings
and soar into the sky-
be one with the wind...
Constant as the breath
I take
to nourish-
my being...
I shall wait
for thee,
my Love.
