Where Your Treasure Is
Part 1:

"Oh! I-I'm sorry, sir." Benjamin stammered, as he began picking up scattered books and papers belonging to the tall man he had just ran into. The man nodded quickly, grabbed his belongings and continued making his way out of the station. Behind him, a small card fluttered softly to the dusty train station floor that read:
James McCall

Antiques, Collectables, Treasures
"Wait! You forgot" shouted Benjamin, but his call was drowned out by a loud whistle and announcement of "All Aboard!" By the time his ears had stopped ringing, the man's dark coat had already disappeared into the crowd.

"Oh well," he muttered to himself as he continued pushing through the crowd. "You know, Ben, you really need to stop meeting people that way. You're so clumsy"

His thoughts were soon interrupted by an enthusiastic "Hello!" He turned.

"Hello, Cousin Charlie."

Charlie weaved between bodies and nearly jerked Benjamin off his feet with a hearty handshake. "It's so good you are here," he chattered excitedly, "we'll have a swell time!"

"Yes swell," said Benjamin, forcing a smile as they made their way to where Uncle Harry and Aunt Amelia were standing.

It was the summer of 1930. Benjamin Weller had been sent to spend the summer with relatives in the city, and he didn't know how he would survive.

"You know, Ben," piped up Charlie the following Sunday as they prepared to leave for church, "you would look real spiffy in one of my bow ties."

Benjamin just grinned, and bent down to tie his shoe. That was Cousin Charlie; he knew everything about the latest fashions and fads, and life never seemed boring to him. As for Benjamin, he was just a little unsure about his new, fast-paced surroundings. It was so different from the farm life he was used to. Straightening up, he watched Charlie grease and part his hair just like the movie stars did, and wondered if he would embarrass himself in public again today.

Later, they both paid very close attention as they sat in the crowded church pew. Charlie took note of what everyone was wearing. Benjamin listened intently to the minister's sermon:

"...and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in Heaven for where your treasure is there your heart will be also."

Heading toward Uncle Harry's motorcar after the service, Benjamin tripped and stumbled a few steps. Embarrassed, he glanced around, hoping no one had noticed. No one had, but then it was him who noticed something. Across the street
