Genie backup is a very robust and capable backup solution.

With Genie backup you can back up your data to just about anywhere on anything. It provides an online storage facility at a price which means you'll never loose your backup discs, and providing you have internet access they'll always be available.

Wizards guide you through the backup process making it a very easy job. Having preset functions for backing up personal files such as Outlook and My documents, is a great boon.

Doing a backup with compression seems a bit slow, but maybe that's my computer.

My only niggle with Genie, and it's something I noticed in version 7 and was hoping would have been addressed in this version is the following:
When starting a new back up using the wizard, you first select to back up your personal files which usually include My documents. The next step is to back up folders. But when you switch to Folders', the My documents folder and any others from the first step are no longer ticked. This can be a bit confusing, but Genie knows you selected them in the first stage so they will be backed up.

Genie is a very good backup solution, giving you a wide choice of options and very easy to use.
