As with many subjects, sex is becoming less and less taboo over time; albeit very slowly. Some want to slow this further and some, naturally, disagree with this and wish we had a society that was more open about sex and sexuality.

But why is it that something so natural and so normal is considered so wrong? Why must it be something so standard and unadventurous only confined to the bedroom of two people. Sex is something people should open up to and have an open mind for. Why would you possibly deny yourself something so pleasurable? Sexuality should be expressed however you like so long as it hurts no one else who doesn't want to be hurt.

Religion and Media has had much to do with the oppression of peoples views on sex. Religion has often demanded abstinence yet ironically has also demanded altruism! Is sex not, according to many.. The greatest display of affection and love? (Proof being from many movies and soaps, the couple that falls in love and have their first incredibly romantic sexual encounter together)I'm not suggesting people sleep around, though however should just accept sex is normal and healthy and have sex as much as is necessary to satisfy their sexual appetite!

Violence is a subject commonly touched on in all avenues and genres of television and is not considered a big issue' or big thing' when it is shown. People are far more likely to experience sex than violence. That's a fact. Showing violence on TV and almost every teenager as a mindless thug' is inciting fear in people! If anything; there should be less violence on TV and more sex! Since sex is healthy and natural. Violence, though natural, is unhealthy.. As is obvious! People should complain less about seeing sex on TV. After all, they complain less about violence, demonstrated by how much of it is portrayed in the media. If you don't like what you see; turn it off. Let the people who do want to see it to maintain their rights.
