This is in dedication of my Momma. There were nine of us kids total but never did she ever make any of us feel less loved than another. She was the strength of our family. From my earliest childhood memory until my Momma passed, she was always a shoulder to cry on, a hand to hold, a best friend, a comfort, a security blanket and a role model. She battled breast cancer and won. The chemotherapy treatments were hard on all us but of course, her especially. She became so weak and thin she could barely walk on her own but even through all that, she was still our rock. She was an inspiration. She rarely ever let things in life get her down. She was always ready to meet any trouble head on and be the victor and she taught all us to be the same way as she. My Momma passed away in July 2005 but not a day goes by that she isn't in my thoughts, in my heart. I know she is up in Heaven, smiling that beautiful, radiant smile on us and watching over her family, the people she loves so much and that love and miss her. A beautiful woman here on earth and now Heaven's most beautiful angel, my momma, Flo Henson. So today, in honor of my Momma and all that she was and remains to me and our family, I wanna say I love you Momma and will see you again one day. I encourage everyone whose mommas our still with them to cherish every day you have with them, to let them know each and every day how much you love them. They are a special gift and we only get to take advantage of that gift for a short time, please do so wisely.
