Her name was Olivia. She was shiny and bright. As she flitted about, she brought smiles to the faces of the people and her golden glow brought thoughts of magical things. Children loved her. They giggled and laughed as she flew by. One evening she perched on the branch of huge oak tree. A young man was sitting on the ground beneath the tree. He seemed very sad and she could tell his thoughts were far away. Olivia felt his sadness. To cheer him up, she darted down and shined her light upon him. Seeing her and feeling the energy of her light brought a smile to his face. A beautiful smile, a smile full of light and joy! Feeling safe and loved, Olivia hovered briefly by his side and landed on his shoulder. He smiled again and her light became brighter than it had ever been. The young man had moved her in a way no one ever had before.. Their energy had merged. She felt happy, loved and totally at peace. Blissful. He held a jar of honey on his lap and he offered her a taste. Smiling, he twisted open the jar and invited Olivia to enter. She found the sweetness of the honey irresistible. She flew into the jar. He said he had never felt as much joy as he felt basking in her light. He needed to keep her to himself. He needed to take her home. He wanted her with him always. He told her that she was so beautiful and brought him so much joy with her light that he had to keep her all to himself. For days she remained in the jar, not minding much, because she knew that he kept her in the jar out of love. It was warm in the jar and the honey was so sweet. Olivia had everything she needed. They talked and laughed and shared their energy. As time went by, the boy payed less and less attention to Olivia. She became lonely and sad. She would watch him through the glass in the jar as he went about his business. Occasionally, he would exchange thoughts and ideas with her, but it wasn't like before. He had become so involved in his own existence, that he had forgotten how important he was to hers. Eventually the lack of air inside the jar began to take a toll on her. Her light began to fade, and she became weak. The honey was no longer sweet, but bitter. The air in the jar became heavy and the scent of the warm sweet honey was overwhelming. Olivia begged the boy to release her. She needed
