Satire: Politics

The Voice of Justice
Just a few more feet and he would be out. They would never know, he was too good. He would walk through the glass door and in to the bright sunshine and they would never know. No one took any notice of him. They should, he was good. But they did not, he was smart and they were too stupid to recognize his intellect. Someday he would tell them. Tell the world. He would show them. He would tell the world how smart he was. He was very, very smart.

"Rights! If I am elected to this office then I guarantee the personal rights of every individual in America just as our founding fathers fought for! No one can tell you that you are not equal for any reason; such bigotry attitudes will not be tolerated in this free society. Gathering his custom-made, black leather briefcase and stack of paper; he slowly got out of the car and started towards the house.
It was dark tonight. Really dark. A night like this and someone could assault you and no one would know. . . . That call James had taken before he left the office had said . . . but no, no one could get in here. Besides things like that only happened in the movies. Still it was very dark. What was that noise? Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
"Hello."
Marshal's heart nearly stopped. He was going to die. No one would go the trouble of getting in the gate unless they were going
