Courting the undead: Assessing the appeal of zombie movies

Well i happen to be a zombie movie lover. What Hollywood needs to do or at least the movie producers, writers or directors need to go pick up the book called The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks although seems fake and unreal it still is a good source or information. Not that i hate how crappy the movies are lately but after reading this book when you watch a zombie movie you realize hey there are better ways to go about this and you also see how unrealistic zombies can be. This book describes them as a mindless baby type at the least. You would think that it would be impossible for us to not get away but its not about getting away it about staying out of site you can hide from a dog it relies on its sense of smell as does a zombie. Honestly if that were to make a movie based on facts in the book i think it can bring back the zombie films from cult classics to a new age of zombie horror films. Similar to George A Romero films but i have seen flukes in his film compared to what i know from this book. I know i am sounding like i am not a fan of this genre but i think there is so much more they can do to make it more.I know the zombie genre is huge enough but its still is a sub-genre of horror when i think it can be easily taking to a whole genre itself. What they should also cover in the zombie films is the fact that when it does happen it wont just be zombies to be worried about you'll have bandits the only movie i have seen this in in the new Resident Evil movie.
