Acronis True Image 11 The protection your data deserves. 5/5 stars.

We should all back up our data regularly, whether it is for personal or business use. Losing data can be highly frustrating and often impossible to replace. Most of us don't backup our hard drives as often as we should. This software makes backups and restores easy and reliable and I think it is the best data backup and restore system available on the market today.

I found True Image 11 easy to install and use. I made a full back up of a clean Windows install with all my software loaded. If anything happens to my Windows installation, instead of a cumbersome re-install, all I have to do is to restore the backup from a boot disc and I will be up and running again in minutes, instead of hours.

I also really liked the options to backup and restore Microsoft Office, Media Player and Itunes settings. There is a great deal of functionality to this software. It can be set to back up an entire hard drive, or incremental file backups. One can choose to backup settings only, or create disc images. Most of this can be done automatically using the schedule facility.

The best use of Acronis True Image is to back up important documents and settings so that they can be restored if anything goes wrong . It is far superior to the Windows Restore facilities, although it can be used in combination with those as well.

I also thought the new features like Drive Cleanser, File Shredder and System Clean up were nice touches. All in all this suite provides exceptionally useful tools to keep data safe and hard drives functioning well. It is an excellent backup and recovery suite with many additional features that once used, I would not want to be without.
