it.
11.) Has your schoolwork, job, home, children, and/or spouse suffered because of your addiction to games?
-Did you NOT take your kids swimming this summer because you were too busy playing games? Did you NOT help your child with their homework, even when he/she asked?
-Did you NOT go to the museum with your spouse this weekend because you couldn't possibly be bothered, and it would have interfered with your game? Are you annoyed at your spouse when he/she asks you to do a simple task, which would interrupt your game?
-Did you FORGET to mow the lawn, and caulk the bathtub, because time got away from you while you were gaming? Did you forget to replace that light bulb that's been burnt out for two weeks?
-Did you keep PUTTING OFF your report for school, which is of your final grade, because you kept on playing day after day, and finally you were out of time? Did you throw some piece of junk together at the last minuet, and get a D? Or did you even bother to do the report at all?
-Did you NOT dedicate yourself to that presentation for work, which reflected the entire company's performance for that entire year? Did you provide a half-assed, incomplete and general evaluation, instead of the outstanding and thoroughly detailed, quality work, which you know you're capable of?
-If you answered YES to any one of these scenarios, then you got some soul searching to do. You have begun to put your games before everything else that is important in your life. Your priorities have become Whacked-Out, and you need some serious behavioral and attitude adjustment modification. Maybe MOMMY or WIFEY should just take away your games, because you are acting like a SELFISH, SPOILED, CHILD!

Video and PC games are indeed a fun and entertaining pastime. They can even be productive and educational. However, they should be played in moderation, otherwise it can become an addiction. We all know that addiction to anything is usually counter productive. Be honest with yourself. If you can't/won't be honest, then ask the people who are close to you. They love you and want YOU in their life. They don't want a shadow of you glued to an electronically projected image of a fantasy world.
