In our society today young America has been caught up in the gaming world, which has cut down the old fashioned exercise of going outside to play. Body building should not be made compulsory but there as an option for young students. What should be made compulsory is a physical education program that is not competitive, but rather there to serve as a good source of exercise mostly aerobic exercises that all students can benefit from no matter their athletic ability. Physical education classes across america are no more than a waste of time, where students play team sports and games instead of focusing on getting physically fit. Nutrition should also be compulsory so that students can have a good base of knowledge about what they eat and can make wise
decisions about nutrition when they become adults. As a parent you should not want young students forced into weight training, but rather give them an option to choose because body building is only one way to get your body in shape and healthy but is not a mandatory step in being healthy. Let's teach the next generation of kids that eating fast food everyday of the week is not a normal or healthy thing to do, and if society is forced into fast food, then at least let the food be a little healthier
