I find much inspiration when I walk. I live near many areas that have large woodsy places to walk in. I like to spend time walking amongst the trees, especially the older growth.
One of these parks that is close by me I go to quite frequently. One day I was there and I found an angel card. I was quite surprised to find such a thing in a park along the side of the path. The card I found was the Angel of patience. This was so appropriate for me as I left a 9-5 job to pursue my business as a spiritual consultant and this takes some time to develop products and clientele etc.
Over the course of the last few months I have found over 15 angel cards all with inspiring messages to me when I have needed them. One time I had a student that I was doing a process with about taking action in the world. A couple of days later when I was walking in the park I found one of these cards that had action for attraction written on the back of it. I was delighted at the synchrony of finding the cards. This became like a treasure hunt for me whenever I was in the park. I would find them stuck in crevices within tree trunks sometimes almost walking by without seeing them. They seem to catch my attention out of the corner of my eye.
By finding those inspiring messages on the cards I made a link that enabled me to inspire others. The man putting those cards out has a website with a forum that people can go to and tell about their experience with finding the cards as well as write poetry and other comments.
Another time when I was out walking in this park which is called Central Park, located on the west coast of Canada I spied a folded up piece of paper wedged in the base of a tree trunk. I was curious so I went to see what it was. It turned out that it wasn't just a piece of garbage that had been left there. When I unfolded the piece of paper I saw a child's drawing and a message that read something like:
Dear Skippy, How are you? I brought you some nuts. I hope you like them.
I thought I'd give a reply from the many squirrels that play tag with each other amongst the trails there by printing a note back to the child. I have no clue whether the child that did the note ever got it but it was fun doing that. The paper was gone the next time I was by there.
Have you ever watched the squirrels? They are very industrious creatures. We can learn a lot from them. Anywhere I walk I find inspiration whether it be in the park or on the street. If we open our eyes to see, new adventures reveal themselves to us naturally.
