Commentary: Why Al Gore might be the answer for the Dems in 2008

Al Gore is definitely the answer for the Dems because he's the last "honest" man left in the government, if you ask me!

The Republicans have lost their way and have proved themselves to be dishonest and corrupt. They have helped corporate America save big bucks and the poor can't even buy enough food to last a week from their paychecks. America has become so divided between the rich and the poor that the middle class is being squeezed in between and will be sucked into the poor category if they don't get lucky enough to make more money. The minimum wage increase was a joke when everything else rose above the increase, especially gas just to get to work.

This country has never been this much in the red from any other presidency. We owe our front teeth and our children's and grand-children's teeth before they even get any. I believe there's no way out of this quagmire if we do not balance the equality of riches in this country.

If every rich person could help one poor person a month, they would be helping 12 individual families per year. All they would have to do is help the family receive the education and knowledge to get a better paying job and to help them purchase a home. Their help would be a tax deductible donation so what have they got to lose? But look at what the 12 people would be gaining, a better job and a home. And when each of the 12 do better, they should be required to help one (1) person do better, resulting in 12 more people receiving assistance. That's the "we help each other" method of moving ahead. At that rate, the cycle will never cease. But it takes the rich to start it and stop being so selfish. Sure, giving to charities is good, but helping individuals on a one-to-one basis is better!

I believe Mr. Gore would be the President that would care about the people instead of lobbyists and who they represent. And a Gore/Obama ticket would be unbeatable. I cannot imagine Hillary being President after flim-flamming the past two years. She has changed her views several different times and that tells me that she's a people pleaser just to get elected. She probably won't do any of the pleasing once she is elected. I'm just tired of a two-family government for over 20 years. If I never see another Bush or Clinton, it will be too soon.

It's Gore's time now because it was stolen from him before. It's just a shame that Gore would have to come in and clean up the mess the Bush clan has left behind. But I'll help clean if necessary. And I mean that! He'll have a whole lot of people helping him to do whatever he needs done because he is a kind soul, a loving person, and one of God's own. Satan has had his run of things for too long, now it's time for a change. None of the candidates (other than Biden) from the "old school" will change anything, believe me. Obama is so new, people are afraid to trust him, thinking he's inexperienced. And that's only because people have been told to be afraid of him because the Republicans know for sure they can't win against him. But I'll trust him any day before I trust anybody else on either ticket. The Republicans are also telling us that Hillary is a "shoe-in" because they want us to think that she is. They would love to run against Hillary. That's what they want because they know most men won't vote for her and women don't have enough votes to make her the President. So the Republicans know exactly what they are doing and saying to influence the Democrats to vote for Hillary. I won't and many others won't. We are the ones who really know we definitely need a change.

I just hope it's Gore, Obama, or Biden to win for the Dems.
