Kevin Garnett has been one of the hardest working players in the NBA since he arrived in the league . He is a multi threat player who can score , pass , and rebound . But in the final analysis teams win titles not individuals .

The Celtics now have three very good players , but after you get past those three there isn't much else to contend with . Their point guard is average and so is the bench . Although the additions of Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen are a huge upgrade for Boston they do not have enough good players and chemistry to contend this year .

Detroit , Miami, and Cleveland are still the class of the Eastern Conference and all of those teams have been there and done that. They all have cohesive first and second units which will make it almost impossible for a team with little success in playoff situations to be successful.

In order to win a championship every player needs to have a defined role . Many of the plays which make all the difference in championship games are not the flashy high flying dunk or 3 pt shot. It is the guy who is willing to put his body on the line ,grab the important rebound ,fall on the floor, and pick up floor burns . What I see on the Celtics are a bunch of primadonna's who have been more interested in individual stats than winning .
