Rebirth of a Soul
Your life was torn to shatters,
your family all but gone.
And reaching out, you found air to breathe,
and finally found your home.
The scars that scratched and tore your soul,
you thought would never heal,
but one warm heart within your grasp made you start again to feel.
She wrapped her love around you,
your heart had closed the doors
to ever feel the way you did
before you found Hells shores.
The emptiness life had given to you
locked away in a bottomless hole,
had destroyed what little faith was left
in the human race, and in your own soul.
Needing noone, wife or companion,
you make it very clear.
But whether you like it or not,
I am your friend, my dear.

Truly I am a foreigner,
sojourning in a strange land,
dwelling among strangers.
Strange people encompass me;
none can understand
