Do the Ten Commandments matter?

by Shasta

80% of American's can recite the ingredients needed in a Big Mac but they can't list the
ten commandments according to a survey put out by Kelton Research. Promenade Pictures has found a delightful way to resolve this problem. Their new animated family film
"The 10 Commandments" will be opening up in theaters across the nation on October 19th,
2007. Christian Slater has the starring role of Moses and the voice of God is presented
by Elliot Gould. As a field agent for this marvelous movie, I had the honor of listening in on a phone conference interview with Mr. Gould. He was humbled when asked
to play the part of God and stated that he felt he was taking on a very big responsibility. The commanding voice of Ben Kingsley is the narrator for this epic.
Paul Lower, President of Promenade, said that it was his hope that viewers would understand that the commandments are really principles which enhance our lives. He
could not have said that better. To get a glimpse of this amazing animation, you
can view the trailer at epicstoriesofthebible.com. Perhaps, with a few prayers, this
movie will change the views of all of our priorities and bring with it the message of
faith to many.
