Is the Women's Right movement destroying our families

I am absolutely certain that women's liberation of the 1960's has nearly ruined the American family of today. Women are still expected to be the mother/teacher of children, not to mention carry their young for 9 months. This in itself is the reason that the average family size is 1.2 children per house hold. All while we work, primarily for the man. Ha!

Let's come on home, cook supper, do homework, clean the house, get the kids ready for the next day.....after we've worked 8am till 5pm to provide for our family, and if you have 1 to 2 children you are at least providing half of the family's income because if you aren't you are working to pay for child care.

Our kids end up with ADHD and with too much stuff they don't appreciate. Our houses are bigger and better, but hey! who feels like entertaining at the end of a week of all of this.

I've often wondered why in the hell it was so important for me to get that college degree. Now I know it was so I could completely over exert myself, stress myself out, scream, holler, cause my kids to have behavioral problems because I'm too tired to pay attention to them. Have panic attacks at the very thought of entertaining friends- which who has time for friends...it's an absolute rat race. It would have been so much easier to just to have been June Clever or Harriett Nelson. I have a college degree for sale if anybody needs one.

I keep referring to my education because if I didn't have it, It wouldn't be expected of me to provide SO MUCH! I would love to just give of myself and enjoy the rewards of baking cookies for the class, having all the kids at the house on the weekends for sleep overs, getting up on Saturday mornings and going to birthday parties. Driving carpool from school to soccer practice.....If I didn't have the college degree, nothing but being a good wife and mother would be expected of me. Being a good wife, mother and bread winner is just too much.

We thought we were so smart- it almost seems like they conned us again- think about it they are still just going to work!

So the next time the women of the world start deciding my future- count me out!
