A RED ROSE
Feather soft,
It, touches my cheek,
Like a kiss, from the wind.
I sigh in memory,
Of what's past,
And keep my eyes closed,
To remember.
I breathe deeply,
The scent is stronger.
Oh, why did he forget.
Burying down,
The sheets are pulled tighter.
Another velvet touch,
Marks my face.
How annoying, I'm reminded.
My eyes, slowly open,
To reveal,
A red rose.
The rose, caresses my senses,
Memories are back.
I raise my head,
His eyes are loving,
Froget,
He did, not!
