How to look perfectly groomed while raising your kids

by jc1971

Well to look like you have just stepped out of a salon,go to a hairdresser!
But some of us can't get to one because of the expense and because some Moms and Dads have 3 children under 5 and one of the children is
tugging at your trouser leg for a lolly and wants to go home. Your second child doesn't care about the way you look and just wants a hug. So the other alternative

is to do your hair at home with varying results.
The hair straightening machine thing takes 10 minutes to heat up and you just about burn your fingers
with it as you try to straighten your hair.Your hair refuses to straighten even
though you've run it through a thousand times.Sticky gel gets into your eyes so your
eyes are glued shut. You can't see through the eye of a needle, let alone a tunnel.
After pulling out the gel you give it another try. This time you succeed, but your third
child wants some cereal and some milk. You go and do that then, when the little one
is munching away at his/her meal you go back to what you were trying to do....
To always look like you've just stepped out of the salon. But don't trip over the
toys as you go out as you will end up at A + E and then the hospital staff will say
"My, your hair looks nice, but shame about the broken leg! here's some pain relief -
a paracetamol script for you"
Other people who are quite
fussy about their appearance might be really impressed and say to themselves,
"I am so proud a member of the health services appreciated my hair.Cos' my husband doesn't."What a shame her husband doesn't even notice. Her dog takes more notice, I'd say. When husbands don't take any notice that you have taken the time on your looks,it is a breeding ground for the wife to stray, to find someone who will take notice.
But who cares about husbands who don't appreciate the way that you just stepped out of a salon? your hairdresser does! And he/she will take the time to make sure it looks just right and will spray it so your hair will survive a tornado.
But I reckon to always look like you have just stepped out of the salon is to go to
the hairdresser. They make great coffee. You get to hear gossip about the pet cat that got caught in the microwave and was mistaken for lunch. You get to read great magazines.Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done for you, including that fantastic neck and shoulder massage - and they even have other beauty services like facials, brow tinting and manicures for your nails - you know what I mean? despite the expense it's a valuable thing.
