Halloween party food ideas

Halloween is by far my favorite time of year because it's the one time that people really get to dress up and do really fun things. The thing I love most though is the Halloween parties and all the neat food people can come up with. I always see a lot of food, but nothing really to creative on the drinks. So, if you want something that is super yummy but looks totally weird, try this recipe, it's sure to be a hit!

First you will need:

- Rubber Gloves
- Scissors
- Large Punch Bowl
- Half Gallon of Orange Sherbet
- Green Hawaiian Punch or Hi-C, 2 large bottles
- Sprite / 7-up, 1 liter

First, about a day in advance, take your rubber gloves and throughly wash them as best you can. Take each glove, flipping it inside out so the powdery side is facing out. Fill the gloves full of water, tying them off at the end. Place in the freezer and let them sit till they're frozen solid.

Next, right before the party is about to start, fill your punch bowl with a two to one mixture of the punch and pop. Two parts punch, One part pop. The carbonation of the pop will add a zingy flavor to the juice. Stir slightly to get the two mixed together, but not too much to lose the carbonation.

When the liquids are in the bowl, take an ice cream scoop and dish out as much of the orange sherbet as desired. As the orange melts it adds a spooky look to the top of the punch. Almost like a toxic waste area. Stir slightly as the night goes on.

To top off your look, take out the iced gloves from your freezer and use scissors or a knife to cut open the gloves. Gently, so trying not to break off the fingers, place the hands in the punch finishing off the ghoulish look and making for one tasty Halloween drink.

It may sound and look really gross but believe me, it is very delicious. This punch will definatly add to your spooky Halloween fun, and the look on peoples faces before they drink it will be priceless, so have you cameras ready and just have fun!

For more Halloween fun, you can add plastic spiders and flies to your punch to make it look even more spooky! Just make sure not to swallow them. Enjoy your Halloween!
