Why your next car may be an electric car

by dlmetz

I don't think the next Car that I buy would be an electric one. To me that there are quite a few problems with them that needs to be worked out first.
First is the distance one can travel is not long enough before one has to recharge. I think the range is about thirty or forty miles before recharging. It takes about two to three hours to charge the batteries.
The batteries also has a bad habit of exploding.
There also has been documented cases in which the car catching on fire. In one of those cases an actress lost her house and almost lost her husband.
Solar by it self has a problem in which you can only travel during the day time hours. Not only that if there is a storm in the area one would have no power.
If solar and batteries were used in conjunction with each other there are still problems with it. There again you could only travel during the day for any great distant. I think those problems needs to be worked out first before I would buy one.
To me the best way to go would be hydrogen. That way all you need is a gallon or two of clean water. Hydrogen is a clean burning fuel and it is a renewable resource. One can get clean water from just about any where in the country. Those cars have power and the exhaust is water vapor. One can also travel about 100 miles per gallon of water.
