Recapitulated

I sighed as I stared out the window of the shuttle, meeting the early Autumn day before me. The sky was still a usual purple for the season, and many of the leaves were still blue from the past season, not a faint red, as they usually were this time of year. Despite the lovely weather, I knew this first day of school was nothing but ordinary.

The shuttle halted in front of our EC (Educational Center) and the students stepped off the bus in an orderly fashion. I glanced over to my group of familiars, Greanne, Lupa and Cauldron. I waved at them as they called my name "Crianatiana! Over here!" I walked over "Hey guys, anything new?" "Not much, Cria" replied Cauldron, my first and foremost best friend, "But Treyu grew his hair out over the break..." I punched her softly on the arm, she knew I liked him, like I had for the last two years I've been in that town. I looked over in his direction, losing interest in the teenaged chatter of my friends. He did grow it out, I thought, his silky black hair was now over his shoulders. His soft green skin glowed under the light of our suns, as he talked to his friends. It wasn't until he was walking toward me, that I noticed I was staring. I immediately looked away, the light purple skin on my face flushed vibrantly. "Oh, Look!" called Greanne to me "It's Mr. Wonderful..." I glared at her, and looked at Cauldron "How do I look?" I asked nervously. "Perfect, the sunlight is totally showing off the redness of your hair, did you straighten it?" "Not the time, Cauldron... oh! Here he comes..."

He walked over to me and smiled "Hey guys, Hi, Cria..." My friends giggled and walked away. Great. They left us alone. "Uh- Hi, Treyu... How was your Break?" "Good, I got my shuttle pass last week."
"Really?" I was excited for him, he had gotten it two years early "How'd you manage that?"
"My dad has as friend who works there, he said I was responsible enough to learn."
"Cool"
"Yeah..."

That was basically it for conversation, before my evil Science teacher, Splatt Gorin, walked up. "Hello, Crianatiana. Treyu. Are you ready for my class?" I sighed, and nodded. "Yes, Splatt Gorin..." "Good," she replied to my comment "This year will be even more challenging than the last!" "I can hardly wait..." I muttered sarcastically. Not that it mattered much what I said, anyway. I could always try again.

I ran off to homeroom, and my brother, Jordiyan, who was my teacher, or, Splatt Grey 3. He congratulated us on reaching our last year of schooling
