You could sell a pair of respirators as, a wonder bra. Do I need to go on?
As you pointed out, you are a safety equipment suppler, so perhaps you should sell your products as safety equipment and not as sports wear. I'm sure you'd agree, someone advertising sports glasses, for use while operating a lathe would be acting irresponsibly. The Same is true the other way around. If your comment was in someway making a question about my integrity and assumed I should have known, then I will point out. The lock smith's, also repair shoes, the petrol station sells flowers, the barber sells condoms and the pet shop sells Coca Cola!

This, I thought was amusing, but the seller thought otherwise and made this rebuttal
Hi,
We feel perfectly comfortable in continuing to advertise our products as we wish and have had no complaints from the thousands of customers we deal with every week. But thanks for taking so much of your valuable time to convey your opinions.
Regards
P*.
"My opinions" she says! My opinions! I have many opinions, but that was just me having a laugh. Anyway I thought the best thing to do now is to just leave it alone, forget about it, have nothing more to say on the subject, but I was drunk, so replied in a way, that I found hysterically funny. Read on for my reply
Hi P*,
Please don't mention your gratitude. I was at a loose end tonight and rather enjoyed the entertainment. I do however have some more gripes I'd like to raise from your latest message.
To start with, you chased me for feedback, leaving me to believe you chase all your customers up for the same reason. Therefore, the majority of customers, one would assume have left feedback. So, let's do some maths. At the time of writing this, feed back has been left for you 13,309 times and you have been a member since 18th of November 2004. This means you have been a member for 2 years, 6 months and 3 weeks, or 133 weeks. Now we take the 13,309 and divide that by the 133. This gives us 100.1.
Your message states, that you deal with thousands of customers every week. This is clearly a lie, as the maths above proves! You have an average of 100.1 customers a week! If you can't be trusted to reply to a message in a truthful manner, how can you be expected to advertise a product honestly?
Now, I'd like to draw your attention to the part where you claim, you have no complaints from the "alleged" thousands of customers, but you appear to have negative feed back. My understanding of negative feedback is, it's a method for unimpressed clients to express their disapproval, of products, or services, electronically to make their dissatisfaction known. However, the previous sentence could be summed up in one word "complaint".
Another lie! How can I take anything you say seriously, when so far, all I've had from you is misleading, misrepresentation, blatant lies and dishonesty?
I've also noticed your company name, "S* O*" is an anagram of "often easy". Maybe this is how you view your customers? Often and easy? I think so.
Rex.
I haven't received a reply to date, which has come as quite a disappointment to me. Anyway, This made my purchase on E-Bay worthwhile. I may have been petty with it, but I was clearly provoking a reaction. I like to provoke reactions. Did I go too far? Was it my own fault in the first place? I don't know and I don't care. It was a lot of fun, so what the hell.
