by it. I bought these as they where advertised as Cycling glasses, but it's clear now I have received them that they have never been designed for cycling and they are just safety glasses that bare a resemblance to cycling glasses.
I didn't think it was worth bringing up the subject, as they where only cheap, but I also would not leave good feed back for them and I think bad feed back would be a little harsh.
Rex.
I thought that was a polite e-mail, to give reason as to why I have not left feed back. The seller thought otherwise and e-mailed me back with the following
Hi,
We appreciate your comments but would like to point out that we were in no way intending to mislead you. Obviously, we are a Safety equipment provider and these were designed as safety glasses. However, the fact we advertise them as cycling glasses is not misleading, as we have hundreds of customers who use them for that purpose. We actually got lots of feedback from cyclists who suggested we advertise them as such as they found them ideal. Not only the vipers but a large selection from the range we offer. As you pointed out, they are very cheap and a fraction of the price that you would pay for an item that does a similar job but with a designer name. However, if you didn't find them suitable we respect your opinion. Thanks for the feedback

A gentleman who's been in the news lately claims spraying WD40 on his knee has cured his arthritis. The manufactures of WD40, were then forced to make a press release stating their product is not designed for this use and suggests nobody should use it for that purpose.
I often use construction blocks as axle stands. If I, however suggested to my local B&Q that they should market them as axle stands. I would hope they would view it as an irresponsible advertising campaign and do no such thing.
Where does this stop? Perhaps you could advertise welding gloves as, stylish motorcycle hand protection? Safety boots as, skull cracking thug accessories?
