Women can also look at women's venture. Since 1978, women's venture has helped over 80,000 women - and men - achieve their business and career dreams. Through a variety of classes and services, they empower their clients to create meaningful professional paths, and then create a road map to get there.
The SBA also has women's business center. The Office of Women's Business Ownership (OWBO) assists women achieve their dreams and improve their communities by helping them start and run successful businesses, regardless of social or financial disadvantage, race, ethnicity or business background. OWBO and the Online Women's Business Center are integral components of Entrepreneurial Development's network of training and counseling services.

The U.S. Department of Labor and the U.S. Small Business Administration has partnered to keep attention focused on this vibrant sector of the economy. They recently launched Women-21.gov, a premier one-stop federal resource for targeted information, registration for online programs, and networking opportunities to help women entrepreneurs navigate the ever-changing business world and do what they do best: innovate, create jobs, and make a vital contribution to the strength of America.
