Healthy breakfast for your child

A healthy and nutritious breakfast can contain one or many of the items such as Whole-wheat bread, Eggs, Milk, Fruits, yogurt or cheese. But the most important thing is to create variations each day using the basic items, so that the child never gets the feeling of eating the same kind of breakfast everyday.

One thing which is a big hit with my children is Fruit shakes. Each day, I try to create a Fruit shake with different combination of fruits, its a great start and also has a good fiber content with less sugar and salt. Children are usually rushed during the breakfast time, so it is also important to offer them something which is easily chewable and takes less time to eat.

And finally, try to have breakfast together with your child, it encourages them to eat and also gives you some extra time to spend with your child.
