Helium has been a joy, rich with so many topics and creative writings. It is not only an outlet for those who like to write, it is also a place to view so many different topics and ideas. It has sharpened my thinking and has allowed me to express myself openly. It has allowed me to examine consciously, the works of others and to rate them appropriately. Being critical of my own work, I appreciate the honest criticism and helpful hints from my fellow writers. Helium and its community of writers are my inspiration and I feel like I have found a new home.

I enjoy the debates and the numerous opportunities that Helium offers.
Today is Helium's birthday, and as a thank you I write:

It is a place of knowledge
This we know is true
For all the topics seen on here
We write because of you

So may your one year birthday
Be a proud and happy day
For you have created a home
So others could have their say

In form and fashion to
And I hope that you have noticed
The wonderful and special you

This I wish to say
