Dating younger men suddenly appears to be an extremely attractive idea, when you consider the fact that the older women get the friskier we get in the bedroom!

If younger men lack the subtlety and sexual experience of older men, they certainly make up for it with their sense of adventure, spontaneity, and playfulness. Give a younger man an older women and he will be open to learning all manner of "new tricks." And, there's no doubt about it younger men have more sexual drive and stamina than their older counterparts. To us "older women," that's one perfect reason to date a younger man.

However, this is only stating the obvious.

When discussing this subject with my partner last night, he pointed out that, in light of recent studies, for older women wanting to conceive a child, choosing a younger man as the father is an absolute "no-brainer!"

Millions of women in the "western" world, opt to conceive much later in life often even in our 40's. By this time, many of us have well-established careers and are quite capable of the financial responsibility of raising a child. The chief problem that faces us is the threat of infertility and increased risk of genetic abnormalities. However, this isn't simply a "woman only" issue.

Dr Harry Fisch, author of "The Male Biological Clock: The Startling News about Aging, Sexuality, and Fertility in Men," says that the quality of men's sperm declines significantly, increasing the risk of genetic abnormalities such as Down syndrome, and miscarriage. Furthermore, a study conducted by the Columbia University School of Public Health, found that regardless of the mothers age - miscarriages were 60 percent higher from fathers over 40 compared to fathers in their 20's.

But even if you aren't just looking for a younger "sperm donor," it seems that younger men can also make great partners.

Many younger men are more "domestic savvy" than older men. They haven't been brought up in a world where the wife/mother figure stays home and dedicates herself to a life of familial and domestic duty. They tidy up after themselves, know how to cook (albeit rudimentary), and as "Humanists" (rather than Chauvinists) younger men's awareness of equality between the sexes, is indelibly imprinted into their psyche.

Whether you are considering dating a younger man just for the fun of it, looking for someone to father your child, or for a life-long partner, dating a younger man could be the way to go!
