If you're looking to learn how to ski, Banff Canada might be the best choice for you. Banff offers some of the best ski programs in the world, and one to fit every budget, age, and skill level. Their focus isn't just on improving or teaching, but about making those lessons part of your perfect vacation. They also offer a guarantee that if you aren't happy, they'll give you one free lesson. The ski schools for children in Banff vary depending on their age. Kids 19 months-6 years old are welcomed at the Tiny Tigers Daycare, which provides indoor and outdoor fun. Prices range from $34.99 for a half day, to $59.99 for a full day, and they offer substantial discounts for 3, 4, and 5 day packages. The Tiny Tigers Ski & Play is perfect for kids 3-6. Trained skiing instructors teach the children in small groups of 2-3, where they spend at least an hour outside learning the basics of skiing.

Kids Kampus is available for ages 6-12, and is available in skiing or snowboarding options. The Kids Kampus program divides the children into small groups based on age, and makes the learning experience fun for everyone. This program includes lunch for the kids, with prices starting at $99.99 per day. Three full days are priced at $289.99, with discounts available for multiple days. There's also the Discover Sski & Snowboard package, which includes lunch, an all day lesson, lift ticket, and rental equipment for kids six or older. Prices start at $159.99 for a one day lesson, and the price drops for each additional day of lessons.

Kids 13-17 can try the Sunshine Mountain Riders program. Using small groups based on age, it gives beginners and intermediate skill levels to work side by side in the comfort of people their own age. The program teaches beginners, and provides feedback to more experienced kids.

Adults have even more choices in Banff. The Learn to Ski & Ride Workshop is for anyone 18 or older, and includes lunch, with the option of learning skiing or snowboarding. Instructors lead small groups in the basics of skiing or snowboarding, and spends time on the mountain trying out their new skills. A full day is priced at $129.99, with discounts available for 3, 4 and 5 day packages.

More advanced adult skiers or snowboarders can try a Performance Workshop. With this program, skiers and snowboarders can receive feedback from the professionals on staff, and have video analysis to see their problem areas. Delirium Sunday is another option for advanced skiers, and is designed for those traveling to the area along. Skiers and snowboarders can pair up, or in small groups, to work with the professional instructors on learning new tricks, and improving their skills.

Private lessons are also available for skiers or snowboarders who want a more personal one on experience. Lessons are available in private settings for individuals or small groups of up to three people. A half day private lesson of 3 hours is $339.99, or a full day of six hours is $524.99 per person. Female skiers and snowboarders can also try the Ladies Camp. This program includes lunch and apres ski, and emphasis learning for beginners and expanding their talents for those more experienced. The Ladies Camp takes place January 10-13, and is priced at $599.99 per person.
