Do you prefer fast food or home cooking?

Fast food is not worth convenience! Convenience only saves us time; it does not save us inches off our waistline, nor can it guarantee us a peace of mind. I was watching a program on TV not too long ago, and I was SHOCKED and DISGUSTED! The program showcased real cooks in actual footage doing unimaginable things to peoples' food.

Please forgive me, if, you too become SHOCK and DISGUSTED, but you need to be aware of this. This is the truth, one of the footage they showed was of a woman, who picked boogers from her nose and put it in a gentleman's cup of coffee. She claimed she did it because the gentleman always come to the restaurant, and take up space and he never tipped her. She was not remorseful at all after she was caught on tape for her vicious act.

Another footage they showed was at a pizza shop, where several guys were throwing the food back and forth to each other, before they put it on the pizza. Sometimes the food would fall on the dirty floor and they would pick it up and put in on the pizzas. They were outright and unashamed of what they were doing. In fact, some of them licked the tomato sauce spoon with their tongues and laughed because it was so funny to them. They just did not care about the people they were serving; and they joked about that too.

There was another male cook at another fast food restaurant, who masturbated in someone's food. Another one did the same thing in someone's coffee. To me, this is vile and unthinkable, but everyone is not like you and me.

Another cook working in a donut shop was showed carrying a tray full of donuts and he dropped them on the dirty floor. Instead of him throwing them away, he picked up the ones that he apparently thought were salvageable, brushed them off with his dirty hands, and persisted to placed them back on the tray; he then placed the tray with the unclean donuts on a storage rack that was awaiting its customers.

There was even a delivery guy, who was delivering a box of pizza and he dropped it; instead of him returning to get another pizza, he delivered it anyway. Where is the compassion and love for mankind? I could not believe what I was seeing.

If I am not mistaken, the program were couple hours long, which should tell you that there were many other wicked acts that I did not cover. I know the following statement may sound off the wall to some people, but I am going to say it anyway; and it is I prefer my own home cooked meals over McDonalds, Wendy's, Burger King, Panda Express, etc, etc, any time, any day!

One thing I know about fast food is that it can be addictive like any other drugs and alcohol out there, but I will not continue to fall prey to it. Another thing I learned about some of the people, who prepare these fast food is that you cannot trust them. They do not value our patronage and their jobs. I have reduced the number of outsiders I trust to satisfy my stomach . Instead, I take the necessary time to do it myself.

I prefer to stay home and prepare my own meals, because I can do it right the first time, and still have the assurance that it is safe to eat, while at the same time reducing the amount of calories I consume.

SO NOW I EAT CLEAN WITH A PEACE A MIND!
