Vladimir Putin is the modern day Czar of Russia and the surrounding countries previously controlled by Russia.
Don't let his easy going public smile fool you as he increases the pressure to reign in the small steps democracy has made in the still communist country that operates under the cover of being "socialist" to disguise their activities.
Mr. Putin has been very smart and calculating in consolidating his control of the Russian Federation that will be in place for many years to come.
What steps has Vladimir Putin taken to consolidate his power?
1. His announcement that allowing the former Communist power to collapse was a big mistake that should be corrected. He has started this correction with him as the new Czar of Russia.
2. Government takeover of the mass media newspapers and television stations where content for consumer consumption is required to be at least 50% good news about the Russian government while showcasing America as the evil empire is required.
3. Government takeover of major oil and gas companies in Russia are now being used to bring rebellious countries back under Russian rule by curtailing or threatening to cut off much needed oil and gas supplies to these countries.
4. The abolishment of governors being elected in the different regions of Russia to reduce or eliminate the possibility of an elected official gaining enough power to have the political strength to counter the stolen power of the new czar, Vladimir Putin.
5. According to some Russian citizens, the old practice of assassinations of political enemies has resumed in Russia to eliminate those who speak out against Mr. Putin's consolidation of his grip on power. Rumors and accusations are running rampant that the assassinations are the work of Putin's Russian intelligence agency to silence known vocal Russian critics of his hard line attempt to consolidate power and to kill the democracy movement in Russia.
"What About Vladimir Putin's Reputation as a Peace Maker?"
One thing Mr. Putin is good at is his ability to disguise his hatred for the free societies of the world by offering to help with peace negotiations that never seem to bear fruit but give good public relations cover while he advances his plan to bring America and her allies to their knees.
Some even say Mr. Putin is the true Anti-Christ with Osama Bin Laden only being a soldier of the devil.
