Best graphics software for teens

Best graphics software for teens and adults can be collected inside a word: opensource.
Opensource is a new way to built knowledge and- now- to draw freely using free graphic software such as Inkscape or Gimp. You do not need to be a genius to make good design but patience, basic drawing skills and free time to gain confidence with tools (especially Bezier curves).

What is Inkscape?
It is a vector graphics editor, similar to Illustrator and Freehand using the W3C standard Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file format which supports shapes, paths, text, alpha blending and more.

Inkscape is available for the Windows, Macintosh and Linux, support PNG exportation file and creates illustrations for the web, graphics for mobile phones, cartoons. If you need a simple line drawings the paths tool meets you halfway moving nodes and Bezier curve in different directions, scaling and rotating node groups. After a while you can create stunning graphics materials quickly on the computer and your design skills are dramatically increased. The drawing experience becomes a way to create very good graphics.

Gimpshop GNU Image Manipulation Program) is a raster graphics editor used to create digital graphics and make alterations on photographs. It can also be used to create animated GIF, logos, altering colors and combining multiple images, converting different formats. Gimp can read and write image formats such as BMP, JPEG, PNG, GIF and TIFF, has a palette with RGB, HSV, color wheel and CMYK plus pick colors tools like popular software Photoshop.

Gimp and Inkscape are both free legal software available on net. Now, you can make your own high quality icons, clipart and animation so many powerful features of high cost software are inside their source code.
