Effective leadership tips with Biblical roots

Joshua is an example of good leadership and good team membership. Joshua lived his life confident, courageous and compliant in all that God and Moses, a leader submitted to God, told him to do. Compliance is the most important character trait. The Bible book of Joshua 1:18 says that those who do not comply with God should be put to death. Romans 6:23 tells us that noncompliance with God (sin) leads to death. Perhaps you have not been promoted on your job because you are noncompliant with management.

When God says something, He expects it to be done, and He delegates this authority to His leaders. Management expects what they say to be done. Look for ways to comply with the Bible, Holy Spirit and human leadership submitted to God. God is a multiple of one, God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ (known by names such as the Angel of the Lord and Prince of the Lord's host in the Old Testament) and the Holy Spirit (Spirit of God), 1 X 1 X 1 = 1. When God or Moses told Joshua to do something, Joshua did it. Joshua was a minister for God and Moses. Joshua's compliance led to promotion in the kingdom of God. After Moses died, God chose Joshua to lead the Israelites. Joshua did not possess the character qualities of rebellion, self-reliance or irresolution. Do not expect to be promoted in any job or area of life if you are not working with the program. Team players are promoted.

If you want to be a leader for God, ensure that you are on the team of the kingdom of God and examine your character. If your character is not God-like, pray for a greater manifestation of the Holy Spirit inside of you which is praying for a greater manifestation of God and a lesser manifestation of you. Self-reliance pulls you away from the team of the kingdom of God. Reliance on God develops your role on the team.

The team manual is the Word of God (the Bible). Ministers (leaders) and team members have to know how to correctly interpret the Word of God. The Bible teaches that peace makers are blessed. The Bible also teaches the team members of God are not to make peace with the team members of Darkness. Only two kingdoms exists: the kingdom of God (Light) and the kingdom of Satan (Darkness). Ministers and team members have the peace of God living on the inside of them, but externally they are called to wage war against the kingdom of Darkness. Use the Holy Spirit to discern when to make peace and when to make war. After God delivered the Israelites out of Egypt and they faced their first battle
