it used to be the family tradition that the expecting father wuld go hang out with friends or work when the expecting mother was at the baby shower with the invited women. i had my first child at an early age and i wanted my husband to be there at the baby shower with me to see what we were recieving for gifts for our new arrival. so we sat down and invited the men and the women to our baby shower the men didnt play the games or anything but it gave them something to do instead of sitting home alone watching tv. i know its not traditional but thats the way we wanted things to be so that both of the expecting parents could be there to see everybody, and just hang out with all of our friends for probably the last time before we were to become parents. the most important thing that days was realizing that we were to be parents and that the friends and family that were at the baby shower were always going to be there no matter what. having the men there was really fun they had a great time just some men are so supportive that they dont want to miss out on anything. we had fun talking about the good times and what was going to happen after the baby was born there was never a dull moment that day we had so much fun that it was a moment i will never forget.
