There is not a talk show host alive who can quite capture the witty, self-deprecating humor of the vivacious red-head ,Mr. Conan O'Brien. His off-beat sense of comedic style and his readiness to make fun of himself is exactly why he gets my vote as the best talk show host.

Combined with the quirky, and often bashful coverage of celebrity news, the Emmy Award winning team, serves up the best parody of entertainment news. Who can forget the Emmy nominated sketch that poked fun at the many uses of Apple's iPhone, where Conan's writers mocked that the iPhone could even be used as a pepper spray, a grenade or as someone's sideburns?

Moreover, who can honestly resist the famous sketches "If they Mated", where an ugly distorted face is offered as a possible offspring to two celebrities who are reportedly dating or whose hypothetical offspring serves a comedic purpose.

Conan O'Brien's quick wit lends a jolt of fun during his interviews and he can make even the least interesting guest seem a likely candidate for amateur stand-up comedy. Poised to take over the Tonight Show after Leno's departure in 2009, NBC studio execs' choice of replacement is a testament to O'Brien's dedication to making us laugh night after night.

A vivid member of "The Pale Force" (a joke he makes of his pasty complexion), Conan O'Brien shines brighter above the rest. And although he claims his show to be low budget compared to other talk shows, he continues to give a high quality performances to his fans each night. Way to go red!
