Prosperity - the dream of all, to the horror of many. The dream of many - to their horror too.

Prosperity has become wealth, monetary and possessions. It has changed from being able to pay bills, buy food, pay for gas, and live comfortably within our home. It has changed from the 'prosperous outlook' of our grandparents to - world wide wealth. The top ten wealthiest people in the world. The top ten most amazing or, outrageous homes in the world. the top ten - for most of us - leave much room for failure - with the rest of the world.

The current view of prosperity has overshadowed our values and beliefs. It is in the perception of 'prosperity' itself, that is the problem. Sure, prosperity has always meant living comfortably, having money in the bank for a rainy day and being able to afford - without strife, comforts like television and dishwashers. It also used to be, love of family and friends. Wealth used to be measured in associations and admirations too - not just dollars.

Now, prosperity means dollars - lots and lots of dollars. The richest man/woman in the world. The biggest and best house in the world. The largest and most extreme yacht in the world. Prosperity is now measured - by the world, not just by the life.

Prosperity has overshadowed our values and beliefs because, we have taken the human element away for prosperity. We have replaced prosperity with dollars - not human.

Where prosperity is concerned - there is no values or beliefs - only dollars and cents.
