Definitely NOT. Church and State are separate. The Christian schools are based on the principles of the Churches teachings and the Bible. Which, whether anyone likes it or not, specifically condemns homosexual activity.

I would think that gay parents would also not want to expose their children to the turmoil that could come from this. No parent wants their child to be ashamed of them or live with the thoughts that their parent is a sinner. These teachings would disrupt their home and create for an insecure emotional environment for the child. Gay or not, every parent only wants to secure their child and provide for them. Why on earth, would a gay parent want to create such turmoil in their child.

Fundamentally, these two should never meet. The combining of two separate views that hold such a huge position each side, would only cause larger conflicts. Would a gay parent want to attend a parent teacher conference knowing that the teacher believes they will be eternally damned for their choices? I doubt it. Does the Church wish to have someone come into their schools and dictate changes that go directly against their Holy Bible? Definitely not. This book has stood strong for over 2000 years and it will remain the central piece of teaching for all Christians.
