This topic baffles me, especially when I am reminded by the web-robot that I am writing on "God" side, with the word "God" highlighted in red and underlined!
I would have preferred the title, "Bible: Work of God or Work of Man", but I guess I can't choose and I will write nonetheless.
Do a little research and you will come to conclusion that the canonized Bible you have in hand did not originally dropped from Heaven, received in its totality by revelation in the form of a long oral tradition empowered poem, in a space capsule or brought in a protected chest by some mythical animal.
The canonized Bible is a compilation of 66 books, more or less, depending on which major denomination you incline yourself with.
The Bible is put to words by Man of diverse backgrounds, ranging from simple farmers to lawyers, through the ages from the time of Moses (born on 7 Adar in the year 2368 from Creation (circa 1400 BCE)) up to Apostle Paul (died 64-68AD).
Whilst it is a fact that Bible was not written by God in His own handwriting, neither is there any evidence to support that a gifted author far more excellent that the genius of William Shakespeare by the name "the Devil" work this masterpiece of works.
Read the contents of the Bible and you will realize that it cannot be a work of the Devil: the language is too polite, the plot too simple and gentle, while there were records of human failings, murders, adultery, lies, robberies, none were described with graphic details.
If the Devil were to write something, he would have failed miserably with the Bible, it won't make it to the top of any awards.
The Bible presents to us a record of Man's encounter with the Creator, the Promises and the coming events that have yet to occur so that when things happen in due course, we know the times and deal with them according, with understanding and great hope, because we have a God, Who has proven Himself to be good, merciful and faithful , although we may not always be as He is.
Is the Bible the work of the Devil? Definitely not. Work of God? I have no proof. Work of Man with the inspiration of God? Has got to be, given the contents and the message therein.
Not convinced, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, judge not a book by its cover: Read it and decide for yourself is this is a work of the Devil or of Man with God's inspiration.
