Poetry: Kissing

"Rose Colored Kisses"
You have planted rosy dreams upon my pale pink satin lips,
Endless joys of summer breezes that whisper my name through the trees,
I sit wrapped with the gentlest care within your arms - like the most fragile piece of china.

The newness of love with its cherry blossom scent surrounds us,
Promising sweet unfulfilled delights at exponential rates,

Ambrosia and nectar for the divine souls of hungry lovers.

This moment opens as drops us within, blinding the past -
Curling into the future mysteriously, for we cannot see -
To see past the moment so overwhelming captivated in love.

Sun shining bright days slide into a bruised sky of dusk,
Spinning enchantment into the air, baiting it for the night -
And our truest friend who looks down with approval at the lovers we are.

The pale moon is made of sweet cream sculpted with deliberate care,
Round and full and fairer than fair, Silver moon that lights my skin -
Making me irresistible, a nymph of ivory charms.

And who but to claim me, a contrasting sun-kissed masculine figure,
Softens me, Seduces me, Scintillating pulls me in,
Til I am as hungry as he, and he for me within the scented season of the night.

The rising of the sun brings a wash of love anew,
As we two, see freshly the face of love in another -
In each other, and you plant rosy dreams upon my pale pink satin lips.
