Well, God created Eve, not Steve didn't He?

In all seriousness though, God/Jesus is very clear about homosexuality in the Bible. It is mentioned many times.

Let's start with creation. Although it is not a clear "homosexuality is bad" flag, I think the fact that God created a male and a female together shows us our first glimpse at how a relationship is supposed to be. If we were supposed to be able to choose for ourselves then God would have created Adam, Eve, and another person of each sex. But He didn't, did he!

Leviticus 18:22 - "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." OK, if this verse is not clear about homosexuality, I don't know what is. It is clearly stating that for a man to lie with another man as he does with a woman is wrong. Oh, and not only is it wrong, it is an abomination to God (this is extreme hate)!

Deuteronomy 23:17 - "There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel." Now, if you do your research, a Sodomite is not someone from Sodom nor a descendant of an inhabitant of Sodom. Sodomite was a term that was a synonym for homosexual. This clearly states that there are to be no homosexuals.

OK, so I know what some of you are thinking now. "That's all in the Old Testament. Irrelevant to today's New Testament world." Well, that's a whole other discussion, but I can give you Scripture from the New Testament that talks about homosexuality.

Romans 1:24-27 - "Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonor their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet."
The first part of this passage states that they were unclean and it goes on to say that tmen left the natural use of the woman. They were "men with men working that which is unseemly." Again, if this is not clearly about homosexuality, I don't know what is. (I would also like to point out that the passage states the women were changing that which is natural as well.)

So, as you can see, homosexuality is clearly mentioned in the Bible.

(All Scripture is taken from the King James Version.)
