Although the Sony play station III has many exciting graphics and was considered the top of the line console, when the Nintendo wii was released it was blown out of the water and all other consoles for that matter. Connection, action and mobility by far outweigh High Definition Blu-Ray graphics. In addition, the revolution the Nintendo wii is spawning is amazing, no longer are there teenagers and over-aged long lost adults playing games at the wee hours of the night, a whole new crowd is emerging.

Senior citizens are finding the games fun and great for exercise, yes, you heard me right, exercise. If you own a Nintendo wii you know they come standard with a game of Nintendo sports. If you have ever played several rounds of boxing you know that it can break a sweat when you begin to fight the challenging computer players. Just trying to get back up after being knocked down burns calories and wears down your arms. There are also "Brain Games" something Nintendo is trying to promote more of to attract a group of consumers who never even considered playing games on consoles.

Just imagine if Halo 3 was for the nintendo wii! Pick me up the barrel riffle accessory and I would play for hours. It would no longer be a game of skill using a few key strokes or a standard immobile controller, no you would actually need to aim like a real gun, duck and move your entire body. The game would be 10 times better. The only draw back would be the time constraint, 30-60 minutes of continuous play until your arm wants to fall off and your body will be exhausted. But in my view, it would be a good thing. Kids will get more interaction and movement and will play less due to fatigue.

So all in all, the wii is by far better. They have made millions in profit where sony is struggling. The games are attracting new users, amazing. It helps people loose weight. It can be more fun and interacting and many other opinions as well. I believe that in another year or so nintendo will come out with an HD version and then there will be no competition except that Halo is only for Xbox and such things.
