Essays: Emotions

Emotions can lead you on a trial of beauty, though on the flip side they have the power to cause great destruction. Most people can agree that there has been moment's so emotional they thought it might consume them, take over the saintly of the mind. So many people lock up the space in their heart's in which emotions rest, unable to experience pain or even love - putting all stakes on the mind. I have to say I do understand in a way, but in the same token it hurts me to know how much they are truly missing out on.

We see women who have felt pain and abandonment to the core leaving them cold and hard, so they can avoid emotion at all cost even when it means losing out on love. Men who play games so emotions echo their fright of giving room for anything or anyone to penetrate their heart as well. If only we could see that emotions was placed within us as a gift, not to be used, miss treated, or forgot about. Not all emotions are meant to be acted upon. You must use them with cation this is true, but never simply push them away.
What if we truly did live a completely emotional world? Would we be content to simply exist without them? I cant speak for another but as for my view everything would become meaningless. I would rather embrace the pain and tears then never fell love, or joy rising within.
