NO. NEVER!
Nothing can be more serious and disastrous to our children than ESPN covering high school football games. For Heavens sake let our children attain complete overall growth, before they are consumed by the fire of day today existence. Before sports become one great marketing exercise in their lives, rather than a CELEBRATION of LIFE,lets STOP this!

Sports is a part of the curriculum not because its a game played for competition, but because it teaches us big lessons for life.Sport is a great way to stay fit and healthy. The very purpose of including games and sports at high school in curriculum would get defeated if it is aired on ESPN.Most sports involve teamwork and teach us how to get along with others, how to work together to achieve a common goal, and about trust and responsibility.

High school sports provide a platform to all students to learn how to deal with success and failure.Sport teaches us to compete fairly, within the rules. It balances competitiveness with teamwork and the need to respect the other side.

Doing right things at the right age and right time would get defeated if ESPN TV covers high school football. Overexposure has already led our TEENS to go in wrong directions. The focus of our children will shift to being seen on television, than on being an overall achiever in school.Academic performance will surely have a negative impact.

Our society might get ripped of budding scientists, engineers, architect s,lawyers e.t.c.Sports stars are many a times bad role models for young people to follow. Many behave badly, on the field and off, and so set a bad example for children. But even those who behave well are not good examples to follow. This is because top athletes don't need a good education. Children who hero-worship them could easily come to think that sport is more important than working hard in school. It is also bad that sport is seen as the best way for people from ethnic minorities to become well known. Shouldn't they be celebrated for their work as scientists, doctors, and teachers, or in business?

Who on earth would want to destroy the complete growth of our young ones before they actually flower with full potential. Why should the flame of learning in them be blown out before it is ignited fully.Have mercy on young minds...don't show them the glitter of name and fame before time....Prince becomes a pauper if he is not groomed properly.Let our schools achieve their target of producing a race of SUPER BEINGS!Let ESPN TV spare our high schoolers from unnecessary greed, violence, and unhealthy competition.
