How did I get here to this time and place ,
To steal glances at your beautiful face ,
It must be destiny or by chance ,
To stare at your beauty if only by chance ,

How did I get to this place of grace ,
To see your beauty and love on your face ,
To say our vows of love to each other ,
Go through each day through the fields of clover.

How did we get to this place in time ,
Having each other is so sublime ,
I feel that I have been blessed ,
To have you and to hold you has been stressed ,

I know now how I got to this point in my life,
It was to love you and hold you and make you my wife ,
For better or worse through all of life's fear,
I know in my heart thats how I got here ,
