World War II, there are always two sides to a story, which one do you want to hear?
We have been taught that during World War II, Germans had concentration camps for Jews, where they suffered and died, but in a war there are always two sides and two stories, and little do we know what happened to people who were far from the events of the war, yet suffered the consequences. People tend to portray the image they want to see, and during World War II, the message that the Germans were the enemy is clear and unmistakable. Yet there is a ring of prejudices to this statement. No one wants to break this image, so very few mention the existence of over fifty concentration camps where Germans, Italians, and Japanese were taken when the war started. There are millions of stories, yet untold about these camps, how they got there and what went on in these places. Millions of lives were destroyed during this time, and all without a specific and understandable reason. A part of history many fight to keep it untold, although people should hear and learn about the people who were affected on the other side.
People tend to portray the image they want to see, and during World War II, the message that the Germans were the enemy is clear and unmistakable. Adolph Hitler was the promoter of World War II, also the leader of the Nazi party. Now the Nazi party was created to fulfill political needs to reconstruct Germany after World War I, yet it was degenerated into an ideal to make Germany perfect having only the race of Arians alive, and eliminating the Jews who were accused of causing Germany's great depression. This caused an image of all Germans during and after this time, giving them the name of racists, murderers, dangerous and so many more. People feared these people and still can't see beyond the facts they have been told about this historical event.
Although in part this statement is true, it creates prejudicial ideas about the Germans, and what happened during this war. () "Intolerance of or discrimination against a person or group, esp. on account of race, religion, or gender "() grew strong among the countries and their people against Germans, Japanese and Italians. People should not create prejudicial ideas about anything since it blocks the doors to a grander selection of information and ideas, like learning about the other side of World War II "It shouldn't be a dark secret. This is what happens during war, and people ought to know about it ".
