For me the whole point of going on holiday, either to another country or county, is to explore. I want to learn about their culture, take part in any festivals or major attractions happening. I want to see how the other half lives so to speak. I want to be apart of their country and not a tourist. I don't want to lie by a pool all day long or on the beach, after all I would have paid good money to go away on holiday - it seems a waste to spend it all on a beach or sleeping by a pool! If all you want to do on holiday is sleep, don't bother going, sleep at home or in your own back garden!

Real excitement can be had if you go on a adventure holiday. Bungee jumping, sky diving, water sports and much more can all be yours to experience. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity. You would never normally do those types of things if you weren't on holiday. Camel riding and elephant rides are all once in a life time exciting experiences, and would certainly light up that postcard you send to friends and families. People let their guards down when they are away from their boring humdrum life. Excitement is to be had.

When you're on holiday, you let your hair down, have fun and do things you would never do in your own home town. All that is part of the experience and excitement.

Live and holidays are for living, not relaxing.
