It's very lucky to be born as a human being. It's a wonderful thing to be born as a female. I'm glad to get so incredibly lucky, to be born as a human being, and as a female. I simply know, there are so many things that I'll be able to enjoy as a girl.
My parents grew my hair long enough, so that my mom could do many experiments, putting various hair accessories on me. As I grew up, there were more and more hair styles to try. Everytime my mom did my hair, it was quite painful actually, having my hair pulled in many directions. Yet, I stayed quiet in front of the mirror as I observed my mom, anticipating myself to get prettier, as my mom said.
Dolls slowly filled my bedroom, and I chose whom I would play with. I was never lonely with them. The little bear doll got the privilege to be my favorite.
My mom prepared me many kinds of clothing apparels, and until today, I have the freedom to choose which one and which style to wear. Sorry boys, only girls can choose to wear shirt or blouse; short, medium or long sleeves; buttons in front or at the back; skirt or pants; short, medium or long pants; short, medium or long hair.
Diamonds are a girl's best friend. We have more ways to enjoy diamonds: necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings of various styles. While men may be keeping them in a safe, we wear them!
As I matured, the first experience of menstruation came, to my anticipation. Despite the discomfort, I felt proud to have grown up: just like mom and other women do!
Anyway, what is the meaning of being a woman after all? There's a duty to do. A job we are entrusted to complete. And the God trusts us to carry out the job. What job? To bring warmth when it's cold. To bring love in the middle of hatred. To bring meekness when things get harsh. To touch the lonely hearts. To prepare the way for new generations to come. To nurture the people. And mother's love comes only second to God's love.
Men do their job their way. We do our job our way. Combined, we make a complete world. Without us, a man is not yet complete. We are the missing pieces in men's puzzle.
After centuries of civilization, women's important role is getting more and more acknowledgment. We open up new dimensions to modern civilization.
I am amazed of how women endure pain. Menstruation brings some sort of discomfort, yet it's always expected every month, and women do feel miserable when it finally stops (menopause). During the uncomfortable, sometimes painful, period, we do our best to conceal the pain we feel, so that other people don't know we're having our periods. Same thing happens to giving birth. Despite the enormous pain of child delivery, a woman usually doesn't feel complete until she's given birth. Pregnancy (legitimate pregnancy) is always greeted with pleasure, although it may not be so comfortable (especially in the early stages).
Things above may seem uncomfortable, yet even many men wonder how it feels. To us, those are ways we celebrate our femininity. Those are the gifts we are endowed.
Will I choose to be born a girl again in the next life if such thing does exists? Yes, a million times.
