Blogging full time? No not for me. I think this should be done as a part time job. Of course that's if you have a well paid job. On the other hand, blogging could be taken as a full time job if you are certain that you can write good enough articles, which will pay your medical, phone and all the other sort of bills that come at the end of the month, and still have some money for miscellaneous expenses. If you can't get that much, then I think the best option is Blogg part-time.

It's a battle out there, when it comes to blogging. The better your article is, the more chances you have that they will be read, which means more money. A good number of freelance writers retired from fulltime writing and now lean back to Blogg. It takes time and loads of writing and editing to get to the level these guys are, except of course you are gifted in the art. Even then, hands on experience counts.

Blogging could be expensive and time consuming. Even when you are using resources like Helium or other free Bloggers to express yourself, you really need to know what you are up to. It could get very technical too. Very few Bloggers really know how to setup Google Adsence on there Bloggs or websites, so the right ads are placed on the site and positioned correctly. Think of your internet connection at home or office or wherever you Blogg from, and check how much it costs you at the end of the month. That's for those of us in countries where you have to go to a cyber caf daily to post your bloggs, because you cannot afford a home connection.

You have to think of ways to attract the right audience to your Blogg or site so they can get the info they want and also visit some of those ads, because that's where the money comes from right and that's why you are blogging. This is where advertising comes in. your Blogg has to be advertised on other sites and Bloggs too so you can make that extra cash. Advertising your bloggs on other sites or elsewhere does not come free.

Blogging could also be beautiful and nice though, because it brings out the artist in you, it's an avenue for Bloggers to share opinions and ideas, beliefs, knowledge and a whole lot more like here on Helium, but if you have a steady income that pays your bills and takes care of other stuff, then I think the artist in you could be a part time one.
