Ten beauty "don'ts"

What you need to understand about this is, it's not about mistakes. It's about the sin itself. How we'll do anything for beauty. Anything to look good, cause we are so shallow that if we look good we feel good. In that we have our sins, these things are yes also grave mistakes, but not just mistakes.

Lathering ourselves with too many chemicals. Propylene Glycol, one of the main ingredients to anti-freeze. It's in our shampoo, our soap, our lotion, our conditioner. We know this and willingly put these things in our hair, on our skin. All for the sake of beauty. (Vanity)

Decorating ourselves with products tested on animals to make sure it was safe for our lips, and eye lids, make sure it wouldn't risk blindness for the poor humans so desperate to have long eye lashes, pouty lips, and seemingly high cheek bones. (Gluttony)

Starving ourselves for the perfect fit of jeans. Denying ourselves food or worse, indulging and then flushing it down the toilet after 20 minutes of it being in out systems. Just so we can be skinny enough to slip through the iron fences of beauty. (Wrath)

Forcing our bodies through hell and back to have the buff look that everyone wants. Pumping ourselves with steroids, so that though your testies may shrink, at least you'll have killer abs. (Sloth)

Altering our bodies with corsets and high heals. Shifting our organs for the right look for the party. Just so we might be pretty enough to feel good. Just so our form will be such a knock out that even we ourselves will be swayed by such beauty. (Pride)

Spending thousands on plastic surgery a month.(Envy)

Exposing our bodies on film for the sake of a good critique. (Lust)

Slicking our nails with poisonous chemicals.

Tanning ourselves with artificial light until skin cancer knocks on our door.

Dying our hair with hazardous chemicals until it is nothing more than straw.

Here we stand on the very edge of the 21st century. What once was us worshiping our bodies, is now us destroying them. For the sake of main stream society. For the sake of destroying our self respect. For the sake of being the most elegant woman on earth. The most handsome man in the galaxy.
Intellect no longer matters.
Beauty now is all.
Enjoy the hell that is consuming our world.
We will reap what we sow.

These ten deadly sins of beauty.
All of which account for ever sin there is.
