Schedule: Themed Weekends
The MRF season typically runs from the last weekend in August to the third weekend in October - a full two months - and they go on, rain or shine. When planning which day you might want to attend, check the weather to be sure, but also check their list of special weekends. The MRF makes a point of celebrating some diverse groups, for a day or an entire weekend.

Summary
The Maryland Renaissance Festival has been included twice in the top 100 best events in North America, as acknowledged by the American Bus Association, and has an impressively high customer satisfaction rating. However, please remember to make sure your wallet is full that morning (cash or credit), because even though it's well worth the investment, it's not cheap. Whether you go with a tour group or on your own, plan the day or just wander the grounds, there is plenty of entertainment and sustenance for everyone. Eat, drink, and be merry in Maryland!
